I'm going to Siliguri, India this March, on a trip with our church! Should be exciting, and challenging, and more. I wrote a bunch of letters asking for prayer and financial support--which was hard--and have already begun getting some good stuff back.
I was really blessed by one that said "I know what you're feeling, that you don't know if you can do this, but you can't, and you don't have to, because this is where God shows up!" It was very encouraging, and a bit humbling. It was said with much more grace and love than how I've summarized it here...

This week was certainly not what I had in mind...Since we were shut down at work, I decided to upgrade our server, which I named "TheShire". Just a quick little thing, wouldn't take too much of my week, and then it wouldn't interfere with normal use. I should know better! After four days, the server is up-to-date. And my week is gone.
Sigh. Cleansing the Shire took so little time in the book...

In english comp, they tell you that you should have a topic, introduce the topic, stick with the topic, and summarize the topic at the end. Don't wander all over. Now, what was I saying? Oh, right, I'm not very good at following that rule, so these updates are more like popcorn: They're just a bit of everything that pops into my head. I'm going to try making each one a separate entry, and see if that works...
