heartwalk pictureWell, we did it! It was a beautiful morning at West Valley College, and we ended up right at the starting line! It took us about 45 minutes to walk the 5K (that's 3.106856 miles to you 'muricans:-)) I took some pictures, which I've now taken down because they were on Yahoo photos, and they've closed it, and who cares 3 years later?

There were 6 of us all together, but we didn't plan particularly well, and weren't able to hook up with one of our members until after the walk. Oh well, next time we'll be more organized! Uh, huh...anyway. I tried to find the guy who turned me on to this walk, but there were a lot of people there, and I didn't remember his company name, and...did I mention we'll be more organized next time?

Anyway, we raised some money for the American Heart Association, which is certainly a good cause. I even got HP to match the donation I made, so that was pretty cool, too! And we had fun, so it was a good thing.
We seem to have critters (rats) in the garage wall again:-(. I tried chasing them out with car exhaust, but it doesn't seem to have worked. I guess we'll need to get an exterminator, or perhaps the Pied Piper (he can have the kids: "Hey bub, you want some teenagers?" It'd serve him right! ok, just kidding!)
