Hey, pretty cool! I hit lifetime in Weight Watchers last week! That means I reached my goal weight (lost 40 pounds!) and have kept it off for 6 weeks. It also means I don't have to pay for weight watchers any more...

Rita is done with school for this semester. So we headed off for a little mini vacation. We went to Seattle, and stayed downtown. Seattle's downtown is everything San Jose's is not. Or for that matter, San Francisco's. The architecture is stunning; there's lots to do; it's basically clean. It appears to have really good transit, but we walked everywhere. Pike's place market is particularly cool, especially for Foodies like us.

We also visited Rita's brother in Tacoma and my Aunt & Uncle in Centralia. While we were there, we scored some really cool London Fog jackets at the outlet mall. We also visited Seattle's brand new central library, which is quite stunning, to get mapquest directions. We went to the Seattle Art Museum to see their Van Gogh exhibit, which was also very cool. But our feet are really tired from all that walking, particularly because there are a lot of hills in Seattle! (lots of Coffee places, too!)

We're on our way home now, back to reality (sigh). Our flights up and back were both packed, so I feel a bit like a sardine right how, especially because, be the time we got to the airport, we were in open seating group 'B' Even so, we almost snagged the exit row seat (more room, and only two seats), but the couple just in front of us grabbed it. Oh well, it is only a 2 hour flight, so it isn't terrible, just a tad uncomfortable. Well that's about it from my in-plane report...(no, I didn't upload this from 30,000 feet or anything quite that cool--or expensive). But I did write it on my PDA, sitting in my tiny little airplane seat!
